I was very much hoping that suspend to RAM would work. However, it is not. Same behaviour as before.

It goes down, comes up successfully, but when it suspends, it turns off the USB devices and does not turn them on again when it comes back up. I have to unplug one and plug it back in, then they all work. I would prefer if it never turned them off at all, as I would like to be able to resume the system from my remote. Any ideas about that?
I tried all three -a options, with identical results. I haven't managed to try it from X yet, but I suspect it will work smoothly. Nathan Hourt. Hi I have s2ram -f working on an ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard. No special setup, just s2ram -f without any other parameters or hooks, except stopping/restarting three services (mythbackend, mysql, network).
It suspends and resumes perfectly well 3 or 4 times using the command pm-suspend. The logfile /var/log/pm-suspend.log is as expected, all normal. Unfortunately, the machine fails to resume after the 3rd or 4th time: when turned back on, the power light comes on, disks and fans spin up ok, just like a normal resume, but then hangs, meaning no video at all, no response to numlock, capslock, or in fact any soft-buttons like reset switch or power button - only the physical power switch will obviously turn it off. The problem is repeatable. The log file contains same details as a 'normal' suspend, but nothing about the resume action. I have not tested with the minimal mode described, that doesn't seem to be the root cause, as the video resumes fine through 2-3 suspend/resume cycles.
Any help to further diagnose would be appreciated.
